Uniform Disasters, the Sequel

(Original post)

It seems that Service Dress Khaki is going forward.

I would expect that Service Khaki, which is the office-puke analogue to the soon-to-be-abolished Working Khaki, is not long for this world.

so wait. the dungarees are going away in place of a marine corps-style utility uniform and/or coveralls; petty officers and below will wear khakis; and cpos & officers will have the option to wear uniforms last seen during the vietnam war. this is all shades of zumwalt - will there be a rebellion from within the ranks with everyone asking for a return to tradition in 7 years?

Hawsepipe, no, Battle Dress Oceanic will be worn by all. With the 8-point covers, the Navy will look like Jarheads hose uniforms fell into the wrong vat of dye. Sort of like the Air Force looks like they have on mis-dyed Army uniforms.
